One of Canada's National Breeds!  The Duck Toller is growing in popularity for good reasons:

Small, compact size (16 to 20 inches)
 Playful, intelligent, active
 Gentle, sweet nature
  An excellent hunting retriever
Excells at Agility, Flyball, Obedience and other dogsports

My introduction to Tollers was with the BEST: Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show, Ch. Westerlea's Ilo at the Well CD.  Ilo was a wonderful companion; a natural tolling dog and retriever; an outstanding, top-winning show dog and even with me on the leash, he easily finished his CD obedience degree.  He was a "once-in-a-lifetime" dog.
Ilo tolling on Abraham Lake. He moved the ducks about 100 metres. I took the photo from behind a natural blind.
Line-breeding on his fine qualities has given me some of the nicest possible Toller breeding stock, proving that "twice-in-a-lifetime" (or more!) is possible.  At Pikkinokka, I have the privilege of working with an Ilo son, grand-daughter, and great-grand-daughters and great-grand-sons to continue to bring together sound-moving, compact Tollers with strong, straight legs and toplines.  This is my priority in Tollers, along with gentle, sweet, loving temperaments.  All breeding stock is certified hip and eye clear.
A top-winner: BPIS Ch. Pikkinokka's Seaside Tempest is an Ilo great-grand-daughter.
